Going for a kiss is a scary moment for most guys. Just like the initial approach, and just like when you ask for a number, it is a point where you could be rejected. Most guys will talk for a few minutes, or hours and then lunge in for a kiss, or they will wait for a movie moment style kiss outside her house. Touch her in increasingly more sensual ways leading up to the kiss. Touch her arm for emphasis when you are talking. Touch her hand. Looking at jewelry is a good excuse. Touch her hair. Asking if it is her natural color, if she ever wears it up, has ever cut it short/used to have it long, or even when she washed it is a good excuse. If she is comfortable with you touching her hair and doesn't recoil at all, then she is kissable, you can go for it here. Smell her hair. Take her hand and hold it as you talk. If you have done the above, it will be acceptable at this point. Don't look at her hand or draw attention to it, just do it. Squeeze her hand and see if she squeezes bac...

how to know a good woman

what is a good woman? I know what you're thinking: a deaf-mute Pamela Anderson. But jokes aside, here are some things to look for and a few to avoid. good qualities LoyalThe same rule that applies to capos and bosses can apply to your wife or girlfriend. Loyalty is a virtue, especially when it comes to pillow talk at bedtime. Secrets get shared in every relationship. If she's nosy, that's a problem, but over the course of time -- unless you're sleeping with a real deadbolt -- she'll figure certain things out, and she of all people had better not be a rat. SupportiveOne thing that's very important is how she represents you when you're apart. If she goes out with the girls and drags you down endlessly, that's disaffection, brother. If she has a low opinion of you, it needs to be confined and then unwound. In the same way, you shouldn't be dragging her name through the mud. If there's a problem, fix it at home or tackle the issue constructively, bu...

Troubleshooting Your Computer

If you’re going to be building computers , adding devices to your computer, altering BIOS settings, or just installing and deleting programs on your computer, then you’ll want to learn the basics of troubleshooting. You might notice that I didn’t say computer troubleshooting . That is because troubleshooting is an independent skill. I learned to troubleshoot as an electronic technician. And most of those same techniques work fine for troubleshooting computers. Troubleshooting is really a kind of detective work. If you notice, the TV detectives spend a lot of time asking questions and thinking over the facts. And that is where a good troubleshooter starts, asking questions, not with tearing apart their computer, swapping components, or running diagnostics programs. My intent here isn’t to give you heavy technical troubleshooting instructions, but to provide you with common sense techniques that will likely save you a lot of time and trouble if you follow them. Take note: I am assuming a...

PC Solution: Below are steps for Microsoft Windows that should help speed up the computer or determine why the computer is running slow. Not enough hard disk drive space If you have a hard disk drive that is 2GB or smaller, ensure that there is at least 200MB of hard disk drive space free. If you have a hard drive larger than this size, verify that there is at least 500MB of free hard disk space. Regaining computer hard disk drive space.

Microsoft Windows 98, ME, 2000, XP and Vista users Run the Disk Cleanup option Open My Computer . Right-click on the hard disk drive that you wish to regain hard disk drive space. For example, right-click on the C: drive. Click Properties. Within the General tab , click the "Disk Cleanup" button located next to the pie chart . Windows will scan the computer for all files available to clean up. Once in the Disk Cleanup window check each of the boxes (except "compress old files") that are taking disk space and click Ok and then Yes if you wish to proceed. Compress? When performing a Disk Cleanup you'll have an option to compress your hard drive. We strongly recommend users do not compress their hard disk drive and/or compress their old files. Often this is several dozen upda...

Computer Implemented Inventions

What is a Computer-Implemented Invention? A washing machine with an embedded computer? Or a general-purpose data processing program? In their public discourse, the promoters of the EU software patent directive proposal say they do not want patents on "pure software" but only on "computer-implemented inventions", by which they say they mean "washing machines and mobile phones". Art 2 of the proposal itself however says otherwise, as does the history and practise of granting patents for "computer-implemented inventions" at the EPO. I ntroduction Can a Washing Machine be a "Computer-Implemented Invention"?Only Computer Programs are "Computer-Implemented".According to Art 52 EPC , programs for computers are not inventions in the sense of patent law. The term "computer-implemented invention" is not used by computer professionals. It is in fact not in wide use at all. It was introduced by the European Patent Office (EPO) i...

The History of Computers

The History of Computers "Who invented the computer?" is not a question with a simple answer. The real answer is that many inventors contributed to the history of computers and that a computer is a complex piece of machinery made up of many parts, each of which can be considered a separate invention. This series covers many of the major milestones in computer history (but not all of them) with a concentration on the history of personal home computers.
